Hostens — provider assessment
Subject: Hostens
This assessment verifies six Hostens plans (Linux, Windows, container and storage) from the VPS hosting page and company pages. Prices exclude VAT, IPv4 and IPv6 are included, and backups are a one-dollar add-on.

Gesamtscore zurückgehalten
The evidence coverage is insufficient for a single overall score. The dimension results below are evidence assessments, not a universal quality ranking.
Fazit
A compact EU option with clear taxes and terms. The assessment withholds an overall score because only Vilnius was verified and no independent performance evidence exists.
Dimensionen
Assessed dimensions have a score and rationale. Not-assessed dimensions remain visibly unknown; they are not assigned a neutral score.

| Network performance | not assessed | Gesamtscore zurückgehalten | No independent throughput, latency or packet-loss test was run on this provider. |
| Policies and limitations | assessed | 3 / 5 | The VAT policy and backup add-on are documented; refund and SLA terms were not reviewed in depth. |
| Price transparency | assessed | 4 / 5 | USD prices are explicit, VAT treatment is stated, and term discounts are documented as non-recurring. |
| Source freshness | assessed | 5 / 5 | The selected official sources were observed on 2026-10-24 or 2026-10-25 and are listed below. |
| Specifications | assessed | 4 / 5 | vCPU, RAM, disk and windows/container variants are published; IPv4/IPv6 inclusion is stated. |
| Support and reliability | not assessed | Gesamtscore zurückgehalten | No support interaction or independent reliability data was collected. |
